Welcome to Advanced Manufacturing Australia.
Advanced Manufacturing Australia provides design, engineering, prototyping and bespoke manufacturing solutions for a broad range of industries and applications.
Our Services
Advanced Manufacturing Australia provides a range of services which can be deployed individually or all together to create the complete end-to-end manufacturing solution for your next product or component.

Concept Ideas
We offer a tailored service for our customers which involves working closely, transparently and confidentially with you. Ultimately, we seek to comprehend your ideas, needs, desires, design challenges and project constraints, and then help you discover innovative and viable solutions.
Depending on your individual needs our services can include:
Facilitating brainstorming
Design research
Ideation
Defining parameters
Brief writing
Sketch design
Concept development
Options analysis

3D Scan
3D scanning enables us to accurately capture detailed spatial information and geometries needed for complex projects.
Our 3D scanning capability allows us to quickly establish the spatial constraints of a project, accurately measure connection points and align interfaces between objects with complex 3D geometries.
Not all projects are complicated enough to require this step. However, 3D scanning can save a lot ot time in the design and drawing phase. Before we start your project we’ll let you know if 3D scanning could save you time and money.

Design & Drawing
With years of CAD/CAM experience behind us and a relentless drive to always maintain an exceptional standard, we will ensure your project gets the attention to detail that it deserves.
We also bring a comprehensive knowledge of additive and subtractive manufacturing processes, including their strengths and limitations. That way your product or component will achieve the design requirements while also translating well for production.

Prototype
Our in-house prototyping capability includes precision 3D printing and a broad range of metalworking techniques.
We commonly use an ultra-lightweight nylon composite material engineered by Markforged for initial prototypes due to its versatility and relative low cost before a final prototype is made in the intended material/s and finish/s.
No expensive tooling required
Lower cost than traditional
prototyping techniques

A range of commercial and
industrial grade materials are
available

Test & Refine
We recommend that prototypes are comprehensively checked and tested before you invest in any scale of mass manufacturing. Therefore in some instances we may complete this step ourselves. Whereas in others we may propose third party expert examination and reporting.
Depending on your individual needs our services can include coordination with independent experts (e.g. for comprehensive stress testing).

Manufacture
Our state-of-the-art additive manufacturing capability enables rapid production of precision components using Markforged technology.
We manufacture with a range of materials including carbon fibre reinforced nylon, regular nylon, 17-4 PH stainless steel, H13, A2 and D2 tool steel, Inconel 625, copper, high strength high temperature fibreglass, regular fibreglass and kevlar.
No expensive tooling required

Connect
We’re here to help you with the final fitment and installation of your AMA manufactured components. Our fitment service ensures those connections are as seamless as possible.
Depending on the application and your needs we can complete the installation in our facility. Alternately, if your AMA component is for a large-scale application, or a machine on your manufacturing line, we can come to you to complete the installation.
This means you can be assured that your products are not only quality controlled but also fully functional.

Support
No matter where your AMA manufactured product or component is in its lifecycle, we’re here to help.
Whether you have a question about fitment or general wear and tear, we want to see our customers succeed. That’s why our after-sales support is complimentary.
We’re available over the phone
and via email between
9:00am and 5:00pm AEDT
Our end-to-end manufacturing solutions enable you to innovate faster while saving time and money. Each step in the manufacturing process can be deployed independently to suit each customer and each project. However, involving Advanced Manufacturing Australia in the entire process will give you a distinct advantage over your competition.

We’re adept at working collaboratively with multifaceted teams which can contain a combination of in-house client team members and a range of separately engaged specialists. Where relevant, we’re also happy to help you find the right technical experts, engineers, machinists, fabricators, etc to help get the job done.
Every customer and every project is different. So we assess each prospect individually and tailor our service to make sure you get the best possible solutions, value and turnaround. Of course, not all projects are suited to our in-house additive manufacturing capability. We promise to be up-front with you to make sure you get the right advice.

Projects often change and evolve, and sometimes unforeseen challenges arise. Forecasting an accurate cost and program can sometimes be tricky for complex end-to-end manufacturing solutions. However, we know that no-one likes unwanted surprises. That’s why we always table and agree updated cost estimates at each milestone.
